What we measure

The seven areas every analysis covers, and what is deliberately left out.

Every analysis runs the same checks, grouped into seven areas. The groups are not arbitrary: each one answers a different question about the page, and they answer them in order of how badly getting them wrong hurts.

The seven areas

AreaAnswersReference
Indexability and crawlingCan a search engine reach this page, read it, and is it allowed to index it?48 checks
Content and structureDoes the page say something worth ranking, in a shape a machine can follow?44 checks
Core Web VitalsIs it fast enough, stable enough, and responsive enough?20 checks
Schema and rich resultsIs there structured data, is it valid, and does it qualify for anything?6 checks
Media and linksAre the images and links doing their job for both people and crawlers?26 checks

Why that order

They are listed in the order they matter. Nothing else counts if a page cannot be indexed, so indexability comes first. A page that is indexed but says nothing useful will not rank, so content is next. Speed, structured data and media follow, in that order, each meaningful but none of them able to rescue a page that fails the first two.

The areas do not contribute equally to the score. How much each one counts is part of how we score a page and is not published, for the same reason a search engine does not publish its own: a number you can game is a number that stops describing anything. The ordering above is the honest summary.

What we do not measure

We audit one page at a time, as it is served. That means there are real SEO concerns this tool does not touch, and it is worth being clear about them rather than letting a high score imply more than it means.

Not measuredWhy
Backlinks and domain authorityOff-page signals, and nothing about your own page changes them. They need a different kind of tool and a different kind of data.
Rankings and trafficWhat position you hold depends on every other page competing for the same query. We measure your page, not the field.
Content quality as a human reads itWe can see that a page is thin, that headings skip levels, that an answer is missing. Whether the writing is any good is not something to trust a machine on.
Anything behind a loginWe fetch what is publicly reachable. A page a crawler cannot see is a page we do not analyse.
