1. What are cookies
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser. "Local storage" is a related browser mechanism for storing small values. WebRankPage uses essential cookies for the dashboard, local storage for a few display preferences, and optional analytics cookies on the marketing site when configured. We keep it minimal.
2. Dashboard cookies (essential)
These are required for the app to work, you cannot sign in without them.

Exact names may vary. Essential cookies are strictly necessary and are not used for tracking or advertising.
The dashboard also keeps a few preferences in your browser's local storage, such as whether you last chose the light or dark theme. These never leave your device and are not sent to us.
3. Marketing-site cookies (optional)
Our public marketing site can use analytics services (such as Google Analytics) when we enable them. None are currently active, so no analytics or advertising cookies are set on the marketing site. If this changes, this policy will be updated to list each service and its cookies before it is switched on.
4. The sites you analyse
WebRankPage places nothing on the sites you analyse. There is no script to embed, no tag to install, and no cookie set on your visitors. We read a page the way a search engine does, from the outside, so the people who visit your site never encounter us at all.
When we fetch a page, the server may send us a cookie in its response, as it would to any visitor. We store it only as part of the response headers we analyse, and we do not send it back or use it for anything.
5. Cookie security
Essential cookies are set with HttpOnly, Secure, and SameSite flags,
so they cannot be read by client-side scripts and are sent only over HTTPS.
6. Managing cookies
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies will prevent the dashboard from working. Clearing local storage will reset display preferences such as your theme choice. Most browsers let you manage cookies under their Privacy or Security settings.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here before they take effect.
