How WebRankPage collects, uses, and protects personal data. In short: your account details, and almost nothing else.

When we say "we", "us", or "our", we mean InkWired Technologies Pvt. Ltd.. When we say "you" or "your", we mean you as a customer of WebRankPage.
2. Our role
For the data you give us to run your account, your name, email, workspaces and billing details, we decide how it is used, so we are the data controller. This policy governs it.
We are not your processor, because there is nothing to process on your behalf. WebRankPage analyses web pages that are already public. We put no script on your site, we set no cookie on your visitors, and we never see who visits you. No data about your users reaches us, so unlike most tools of this kind we hold no personal data belonging to anyone but you. Our Data Processing Agreement sets this out for procurement teams who need it in writing.
3. Data we collect (about you, our customer)
Account information
When you create an account, we collect:
- Name - your display name
- Email address - used for login, notifications, and account recovery
- Password - securely hashed with a one-way algorithm (we never store your plain-text password). If you sign in with Google we store no password at all, only the account identifier Google gives us
- Workspace & team data - workspace names, team memberships, roles, and invitations you send
Content you create
The URLs you submit, the pages on your watchlist, your schedules, labels, notes, exports, and any white-label branding you configure. This is your content; we store it so the product works.
Usage data
- IP address - for rate limiting, security, and abuse prevention
- Dashboard and API activity - requests, timestamps, and response status, including which API key made a call and when, so usage can be counted against your plan and a leaked key can be traced
Payment information
We do not collect or store your card details. Payment processing is handled by our payment provider, PayPal, which may collect your card number, billing address, and payment details directly. See its privacy policy:
For invoicing (including GST invoices in India) we store the billing details you provide, your name or business name, address, state, country, and GSTIN where applicable, and retain invoice records as required by tax law.
Data we do not collect
- We do not sell your data to anyone
- We do not track you across other websites, and we run no advertising pixels on the dashboard
- We do not build advertising profiles from your content or your usage
- We collect nothing at all about the visitors to the sites you analyse
4. The pages you analyse
When you submit a URL we fetch that page from its server, exactly as a visitor or a search engine would, and store what it sent us: the HTML, the response headers, the findings we derive, and for a crawl the links between pages. We store this so a report is reproducible and so you can compare a page against how it looked last month.
A public page can contain personal data its publisher chose to publish, an author's byline, a name and address on a contact page, and where it does, that content is stored as part of the page. We do not extract it, index it as personal data, or use it for anything. If you need a stored report removed, write to [email protected].
Reports are stored per URL and shared across accounts: if two customers analyse the same public page, they read the same underlying analysis rather than us fetching and storing it twice. What is private to your account is your history, your watchlist, your labels, schedules and notes. A report never records who asked for it.

We use your account data to provide and improve the service and to communicate with you about it. We do not use it for third-party advertising or profiling.
6. Legal basis for processing
If you are in the EEA, UK, or another jurisdiction that requires a legal basis, we rely on:
- Contract performance - to provide WebRankPage to you (account, billing, running the analyses you ask for).
- Legitimate interest - security, fraud prevention, and product improvement, where our interests do not override your rights.
- Consent - where required, such as for optional analytics cookies.
- Legal obligation - to comply with applicable law (tax and invoicing records).
7. Data sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers, and only as needed to run WebRankPage:

The current list of providers is maintained in our Data Processing Agreement. We may also disclose data if required by law, court order, or to protect our rights and the safety of our users.
8. Cookies
WebRankPage uses essential cookies for the dashboard to function (login state, CSRF protection), and the marketing site may use optional analytics cookies when configured. 9. Data retention
- Account data - retained while your account is active; deleted when you delete your account.
- Your content - watchlist, schedules, labels and history, retained while your account is active.
- Page analyses - retained so reports stay reproducible and comparable over time. These describe public pages rather than people, and are not tied to the account that requested them.
- Security logs - short-lived, kept only as long as needed for rate limiting and abuse prevention.
- Payment and invoice records - retained as required by tax and financial regulations (typically up to 7 years). A GST invoice cannot be deleted on request; the law requires us to keep it.
When you delete your account, we permanently remove your personal data (name, email, password hash, workspaces, watchlist, schedules and history) within 30 days, except the invoice records described above. Some anonymised, aggregated data may be retained for product analytics.
10. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access - a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification - correct inaccurate data (update your name and email in your account settings).
- Erasure - delete your account and associated data.
- Portability - receive your data in a machine-readable format. Your reports and history can also be exported from the dashboard at any time.
- Restriction and objection - limit or object to certain processing.
- Withdraw consent - where processing is based on consent.

11. Data security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including:
- Passwords securely hashed; API keys hashed before storage, so a key cannot be read back out of our database
- All connections encrypted in transit
- Workspace isolation enforced on our servers (one workspace cannot read another's)
- Protected session handling and cross-site request forgery protection
- Protection against brute-force sign-in attempts
- Multiple layers of defence against common web attacks on the dashboard

12. International transfers
WebRankPage is operated from India. If you access the service from elsewhere, your data may be transferred to and processed in India or other countries where our service providers operate (including the United States). Where we transfer personal data of EEA, UK, or Swiss residents to countries without an adequacy decision, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses. 13. GDPR - European Union & United Kingdom
If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, the GDPR (or UK GDPR) applies. InkWired Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is the controller of your account data. You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection, and the right to complain to your data protection authority. In the event of a breach that poses a risk to your rights, we will notify the relevant authority within 72 hours and affected users where the risk is high. See our full GDPR statement.
14. India DPDP Act 2023
WebRankPage is operated by InkWired Technologies Pvt. Ltd., registered in India, and complies with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. As a Data Principal you have the right to access, correction and erasure, grievance redressal, and nomination. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.

We acknowledge grievances within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within 30 days.
15. Children's privacy
WebRankPage is a business tool not intended for individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If we learn we have, we will delete it promptly. This threshold aligns with the DPDP Act 2023, which classifies anyone under 18 as a child.
16. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. For material changes we will notify you by email or a notice on WebRankPage before they take effect. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
